Doctor Who Page

Welcome to our Doctor Who page and a brand new clip from the Target Classic Novel recordings. This one features a raging battle between UNIT soldiers and jelly-like creatures from the ID of the exiled Timelord, Omega.
Doctor Who Magazine will feature more details and an in-depth review of this recording in their next issue.
Simon Power is currently adding music and sound design to the Dalek double bill, Mission To The Unknown and The Mutilation Of Time. These two will be available from the BBC Shop later in the year.
Thanks to Michael Stevens for allowing me to post these clips.
Doctor who and the Three Doctors is available soon from the BBC Shop

Dalek Invasion...
Yes, it's those pugalistic pepperpots and their zombie-like Robomen hell bent on scooping out the Earth's core and anihilating anyone who objects.
Just like thousands of others, I remember watching the first Dalek series in paralysed terror as my parents knitted, smoked and drank tea blissfully unaware of the long term side effects. (of watching Doctor Who that is, not knitting and drinking tea!)

Top 20 Synths: The VCS3 & The Daleks

Synth Epic...
This Meon Media produced series Top 20 greatest Synths first appeared on music technology site sonicstate.com. This episode features Portishead's Ade Utley briefly chatting about the effects used to create the voice of the Daleks. (Tenuous, I know. But hey this is all for free remember!). anyhow, If you're into synths I hope you enjoy the episode.

But anyway, it didn't really matter how nasty the Daleks were. Because the gallant & sophisticated Ian Chesterton was always on hand to run, jump and throw rocks at them whenever required to do so. and now, 40 something years later, Ian's there again. Well, actor William Russell that is. With his reading of the Target Classic Novel for BBC Audio.
And what a great reading it is. The Robomen have never sounded so empty of emotion and the battle scenes have just the right amount of gravitas. Yep, with big flying saucers, underground mines, alligators and street battles this one has got to be a 'thumping good listen'. As for the sound design on this one was an absolute dream to work on and I enjoyed every minute.
Released last November and recently reviewed in the Doctor Who Magazine, 'The Dalek Invasion Of Earth' still remains a firm favourite with me! Simon Power
